The Client Situation
The Client implemented a business management system for the first time. The company highlighted that it is important to consider the following items:

The system should allow flexible management of access to data. All users of the system may have different permissions to view data arrays.

The system must support multi-register data entry. For example, the user can enter the details of actual costs and plan data at a generalized level.

The system should respond to changes in the business logic of calculations, or to changes in the basic inputs.

All changes made should be available to users with the appropriate access rights.

The system should support access to detailed historical data.
The Challenge
Implement a comprehensive business performance management system that will ensure the flexibility of the client's business processes and the requirements of drill-down analytics.
The Solution
We proposed to implement Spreadym as the basic business performance management system. As Spreadym supports multi-register input, we created and implemented a basic form for entering all accounting items, which could recalculate the result when baseline data changes.
Information from the basic form was pulled into a pivot table for further operational planning, where the user could see the actual data both in summary and in detail. At the same time, users could continue to enter planned indicators without detailing them by items. The pivot form could provide data for past periods.
Flexible access settings made it possible to display data arrays only to those users who had the appropriate rights, while there weren’t restrictions on fulfilling empty forms.
